Community Service

Engaging in community service provides students with the opportunity to become active members of their community and has a lasting, positive impact on society at large. Community service or volunteerism enables students to acquire life skills and knowledge, as well as provide a service to those who need it most. Being a part of a community can make us feel as though we are a part of something greater than ourselves. It can give us opportunities to connect with people, to reach for our goals, and makes us feel safe and secure.
Being under the aegis of DDMS , the school believes that through constant innovation and integrity, our voice must reach every child who is in need of care, compassion, counselling, medicine, food, legal aid and vocational training”. This was the aim of Smt. Durgabai Deshmukh who was also the founding member and guiding light of the school.
